Requirements

Your Vita must be homebrew-enabled (HENkaku / Enso family) to install the .vpk. Install it with VitaShell like any other homebrew. One platform-specific note: to properly hash and re-sign PSP saves, Apollo needs the console’s FuseID dumped from Adrenaline — Apollo can install its own FuseID dumper (Tools → PSP Key Dumper tools), and PSP save decryption additionally needs per-game keys.

What Apollo Does on This Platform

  • Multi-format saves: native PS Vita saves, PSP saves (through Adrenaline) and PS1 saves in one app.
  • Save management: browse saves, update param.sfo, decrypt and export saves, and import decrypted saves from other consoles (re-signing).
  • Cheat patches: complete support for Save Wizard and Bruteforce Save Data cheat patches.
  • Online Database: download community saves for Vita and PSP games from inside the app — they must be re-signed with Apollo before use.
  • Dreamcast VMU: v2.4.0 adds VMU memory-card management, with Flycast VMUs auto-detected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which saves can the Vita build manage?

Three kinds: native PS Vita saves, PSP saves (via Adrenaline) and PS1 saves. The standalone PSP also has its own Apollo build — see the PSP hub.

Why does Apollo ask for a FuseID on PSP saves?

PSP saves are hashed against a console-unique FuseID. Dumping it once (Apollo can install the dumper into Adrenaline) lets Apollo re-sign PSP saves correctly.

Is Apollo free?

Yes. Apollo Save Tool is free and open-source under the GPL-3.0 licence, developed by bucanero.
